Duties of the sons of Kohath -->> Cleansing and Dedication of the Levites

The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron to take a census of the sons of Kohath and explain their duties to them. The sons of Kohath were to perform these duties always in regards of the Tabernacle. The duties of the sons of Gershom where given and the duties of the sons of Merari were given as well. All these duties pertained to the taking down and putting up of the tabernacle. Next Moses, Aaron and the leaders of the congregation numbered the sons of the Levites (Kohath, Gershon, Merari). Moses directed the children of Israel to isolate the ceremonially unclean people from the rest of the people. The Lord went over the ways to handle the confession and restitution of the people of Israel. Then the Lord covered how to handle Unfaithful Wives. The law of the Nazirite was given and then the priestly blessing was given. Now Moses anointed and consecrated every part of the tabernacle now that it was completely up and constructed and he then instructed the leaders of their offerings. Each leader of each son of Israel was given to their offerings from eldest to youngest, one day at a time until all had given of their offerings. The Lord had Moses speak to Aaron about the Arrangement of the Lamps. Now the Lord instructed Moses to take the Levites from the children of Israel and ceremonially cleanse them. The Lord instructed the Levites as to what to do and what not to do in regards to the tabernacle and not to break the commands lest they die.

Numbers 5-8

I see the order the Lord lays out for the people of Israel and think I'm so glad that we are clear of most of this ceremonially cleansing of ourselves. Jesus brought us up and already cleansed us of all our sins as we turn to Him. I'm just simply under the complete admiration and appreciation and utter servitude to Christ Jesus for His complete and total sacrifice for me.

Thank you Father for all your gifts most of all thank you for your son Christ Jesus. Thank you Jesus for taking upon your cross my sins and willingness to be sacrificed for me when I clearly don't deserve it. Thank you Holy Spirit for your continued guidance, comfort and support. I pray thank you for all you do and have done and continue to do in the beautiful wonderful blessed gracious humble name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!
