Always a reason

Good day dear family, I know it's been a couple weeks. I have missed you immensely. No ones excuse but mine. God forgive me for not writing.  I love each of you dearly, but have faced some battles and trials of my own that has left me lackadaisical. The definition for this is lack of life, spirit, or zest. I haven't been lack of life or spirit but maybe a bit of zest for sure. This has been a bit of a transformational season for me to say the least. This is all here nor there. sorry to bother with my trial of direction or focus in this season. I have come with what I believe is a very inspired and motivated and highly needed word for some of us today. Here it is!

There is always a reason! No matter where you find yourself you have a reason for being there. Just know that God has a plan right where you are. but know that all things work out for good.

Romans 8:28 -  And we know that God causes everything to work together[a] for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

We debate and we calculate and all things possible to say how could He know that I would do this or that when I didn't even know. Or this or that, and so on and so on. We have an endless supply of our logic and our understanding to reason with but that is the problem ya see. We need to just "Let Go and Let God".

Isaiah 55:8-9 - 8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

We tend to get in the way of our own thinking, reasoning, and especially our own blessing. You see we need to learn to lean into the direction of where God has us. I know at times we ask why are we even here. Quit asking yourself. Ask God. he will use you right were your at, at all times. You just need to ask! He's waiting for you to ask. Be receptive. Be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. God knows your every question and every dilemma before you have it or are in it.

I always try to live in the moment and by the leading of the Holy Spirit in all things. I'm clearly not always successful, but I'm always hopeful and have faith God will use me as he wishes, and I pray I never get this ol' nasty flesh of mine in the way. I can screw up an engineer putting in a light bulb. A group of clowns have nothing on this ol'boy when he's led by flesh. I wish to always and continually seek God First and put His kingdom first not my own pettiness.

I was given this by my lack of vision while at a Christian Concert with a brother of mine in the kingdom of Christ Jesus. He had a conversation with a young woman while we were volunteering and he said if I'm here for no other reason than to talk with that woman than I'm so happy I came. Then of coarse he gets a word from one of the artists while giving some of her testimony that hit him as well.

No, this didn't really speak to me as a WAM Revelation but it did speak to me as in my reason for being there. I am thankful for all God has for me and for all He continually pours into my life. I am so blessed, but this ol'boy still asks why and what for? it made me realize I'm right where I need to be for His reason, not my own selfish ones. God has a plan for me all I have to do is yield into it! Ask God what do you need me to do? Let thy will be done not mine! No matter the place, the task or the deed needing to be fulfilled God has your back. Know This! Everything we do is for the Glory of His Kingdom not our own. leave selfishness aside and repent for it. Step up and ask the Lord what do you need me to do? Who do you need me to speak too? What do you need me to give? A hug, a smile, gift, encouragement, support, comfort, love, something not in my comfort Zone! It may be hard but know He is there With you! Ask!

Matthew 7:7-8 - 7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

This isn't just some saying to give you comfort. Yes, it does give comfort as you lean into it, but its Who He is. this is Who our Father is! Who Jesus is! This is Who Holy Spirit is! know that they wish to always give you your desires of your heart. Lean into His will for your life and let Him lead you. He will show you His love in all things. There is:

ALWAYS A REASON!

Red lettering to emphasize His Love for you in every situation, everyday, no matter what. Lean into His leading and in all things He will show you the Way. Christ Jesus

Father help us to step out of our own heads and lean into your understanding and not our own. We Love you, show us how to show you. Let our actions and thoughts only Glorify you Father. Father we ask all this in the kind loving gracious precious beautiful humble name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

SELF

I wanna start this off with the blog of a friend of mine. Brother Greg Ruark. His blog then my rambling or my response.

Greg's Blog:

What About Me?

If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it. [Luke 17.33]

What does this say to all our self-preservation, self-help, and self-centeredness today? I think it says we are fatally flawed in our infatuation of self!

"Self awareness" is a big buzzword today also. What does that mean? Look it up - it's a mess of concentration upon oneself. That, in and of itself, should alert the Bible believer that something is amiss.

Jesus did address issues regarding self as we see in Luke 17.33. However, Jesus did not deal with self as we do today! Instead of focusing on self, Jesus was very clear that self was a force to be ignored and dismissed. Self stands in the way of a genuine relationship with God. As counterintuitive as it may seem, self stands in the way of life. An embrace of self is an embrace with death.

Jesus did not just teach self abasement, but He lived it out in ultimate form. Jesus willingly submitted to the Cross for the greater good of mankind. Jesus used no unclear language in declaring the necessity for us to embrace our own cross as evidence of having fully submitted to Him.

Every one of us must come to terms with Luke 17.33. It is not simply an occasional sermon topic, good idea, or inspirational exercise. Luke 17.33 stands as the dividing line between those who are God's and those who are not.

Is it any wonder the world is so focused then on self? The pandemic spiritual disease of self-centeredness is infinitely worse than any virus will ever be.

Until we see the world's obsession with self for what it is - purely demonic and idolatrous, we are of no consequence to Satan and of no benefit to the Kingdom of God.

Self-centeredness is the opposite of Jesus Christ. John the Baptist said it best:

He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. [John 3.30]

Father, take my life that Christ might be glorified in me. May I experience only a heightened awareness of Christ in me with no reserved thought for self.

My Comment:

“Anyone who isn’t with me opposes me, and anyone who isn’t working with me is actually working against me.” Matthew 12:30 NLT

Those right there are red letters brother, yep I couldn’t agree more brother, Greg. This world is eat up with the disease of self. We are no more than what used to be a leprosy village. When others come near we yell out, SELF! SELF! SELF! We don’t want to be caught off guard, not letting the world know we are first, but it’s ironic that we are actually contagious. It’s so blindingly guiding us to our own death now as you said earlier. The Leppers were actually warning people off from them because of the contagion they carried. We the world now are telling the world self self look at me before you do yourself. We are drawing others in and they are catching the contagion it carry’s and they become infected with self themselves. The enemy has so deceived the world that he has convinced the world to do his work for him. The world now pulls everyone into itself. Barring the only fix for its self centeredness is only Christ Jesus, but with this in mind how does that affect the church? No Different than the whole world. The church now is the world and the world is the church. Now this isn’t entirely true of coarse but it is largely true. A smaller percentage of the people in church are free from Self. We are all plagued by it at times and it is more of a pandemic than anything cellular or microscopic. COVID has nothing on the disease SELF.

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?” Romans 8:31 NLT

If we learn to simply “Let go and Let God” we will find that nothing can harm us.

“no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Psalms 91:10-16 NLT

“Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.” Luke 10:19 NLT

We have scripture after scripture to rely on to fall back on in times of need. We should be continually living in that need but we again get caught up in SELF.

“I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.” Mark 11:23-25 NLT

This is a scripture that’s clearly spot on with this message brother. The world gets caught up in the first two and doesn’t tend to look at or consider the last verse here. First forgive! Then! See we get caught into self even within the scriptures. The enemy has planted this seed long before we were even born within the church and we have continued to eat it cause the generation before us did. NO, NO MORE. We are born again children of God who fear no evil! We must submit our lives over to Him wholeheartedly not haphazardly where we don’t understand our own decisions. By wholeheartedly giving of ourselves we know all the ins and outs of our decisions. But by haphazardly giving we know not why and that is an opening for the enemy to deceive and mislead even the elect.

Father keep us in your Word and guide us by it and not our haphazard decisions of an excuse because so-and-so did it. Let us know we are wholly in your will and following your Word. Father let us walk free from our own Self and give ourselves wholeheartedly over to you. In the precious beautiful amazing wonderful gracious humble selfless name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Judgement and Offense of others

Good day family! It's such a blessing to get the opportunity to share with you on this beautiful day.  I like to have this out before noon but the Lord took my attention away to a message that seems to be more in line with where He wants me today. I've been digging into a few different things to grasp what He has for us today. I pray you forgive the tardiness of this but know that God is always on time.

We look into the world and we see offense everywhere we go. So much so that we even begin to see it in the mirror before too long. As a born again child of God that's quite a pill to take in. We just have a hard time swallowing this bitter pill. I encourage you to watch what seems to be a simple video and it was likely intended as secular message but it's very much related to the offense our world takes in every day "the bait in Satan's snare."

https://youtube.com/shorts/Xr6k6a4CrG8?feature=share

We stand in offense for others so we are not perceived as judging, but we want to seem loving by being offended for someone, but we want it all to be perceived in love. In reality it's just  plain and simple judgement of others. We have no need and clearly absolutely no right to judge anyone. This is especially to all around us but even more so Self, yes, Self! What? Yes, Self! we tend to judge others and tell ourselves its all in love but in reality its in judgement. Even when we get past that for others we begin to stand in offense for self and judge it as being offended for various reasons. We see self in the way and take offense. You have no right to judge others, EVER! You have no Right to judge Self. Christ is our Judge. No matter the reason or season for all things, Forgive! Yes, Forgive, others AND Self. Christ is our intercessor and our advocate, and our redeemer. Follow direction from the Word as Paul told Timothy.

2 Timothy 2:24–26 NLT - 24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. 25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

See we need to be led by the Holy Spirit.

We need to be in His will.

We need to do all things with patience.

We need to teach.

We need to Gently instruct.

We need be careful not to be Prideful or Haughty and fall into the same trap or snare we are helping to free others from. Only by living in the presence of the Holy Spirit can we remain free and free others.

Father help us to free others from all the traps and snares of the enemy out there. In so doing help us to remain free ourselves and not get caught in the same trap or snare. Father let us not judge others in anyway Father and forgive us of our past judgements. Father forgive us of our judgement of self that is your job and your job alone. We stand in the gap and forgive others of any offense and forgive self for any judgement and wrong doing. Father help us to continually walk in freedom and remain fully in your presence so as not to get caught in the traps and snares of the enemy. Father let us continually give all the mercy and grace you have bestowed upon us to the world around us. We give you all the worship within us and praise your Holy name. All the Glory is yours Father. In the precious beautiful amazing glorious wonderful humble name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!
