Are we patient?
Why are we patient?
If not, why?
Do you have the opportunity to be patient?
Never
give up on Christ Because Christ has never give up on you.
Prayer is calling for backup and laying ahold of the Lord’s
willingness to help us.
Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the plans and thoughts
that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being
and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Prayer helps us remember that we are not in the fight alone
and allows us to be hopeful for divine intervention as we navigate life's
difficulties with patience.
Ephesians 3:20 - God is able to do “Exceeding,
abundantly above all we can ask or think”
Mark 11:24 - “Therefore I tell you, whatever
you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be
yours.”
Joshua 1:9 - “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for
the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
We have no reason to be fearful or discouraged with God on
our side. Instead, it brings boldness
and an unstoppable attitude as we walk in faith and practice patience in all
things in our lives and the lives of those around us. Keep on keeping on. Quit giving
up on Christ even in the instances its for but a minute. Yea, I know we all
have times of failure and of giving up on Christ. As we fall back on the Word
we see Christ will never leave us nor forsake us and we see He is forever there
with us through all we are going through.
I think of the times that I give up on God the most and find
that its in His calling upon my life. The calling of me stepping up being the
man God has destined for me to be. I know I fail Him way more often than I
like. I just pray the Holy Spirit will continue to guide me and direct me in
the path God as for me. I know I can pray all I wont and the know the Holy Spirit
will do His part, but if I don’t get off my keister and do the work I will
continue to fail the Lord and show that all I really do is continually give up
on Him. I don’t want to keep giving up on Him. I want to step up and step out.
I want to give my all to Him in His calling upon my life.
Isaiah 6:8 - 8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
This is the boldness I wish to have in my everyday walk. I
wish to get up and step out into every single call the Lord places in my path
for every instance. I want it to be His will not mine that gets done, no matter
whether it be for prayer, laying on of hands, giving, support, encouragement,
even raising the dead if that be His will for me. I just want my life to lift Him
and Glorify and honor His kingdom above all we see or think. I think of this in the instance of my brothers
in arms in the Kingdom of God. How am I to walk? How am I to bear witness in my
brothers’ lives? What does the Lord expect of me?
Galatians 6:1-3 NLT - Dear brothers and sisters, if another
believer[a] is overcome by some sin, you who are godly[b] should gently and
humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall
into the same temptation yourself. 2 Share each other’s burdens, and in this
way obey the law of Christ. 3 If you think you are too important to help
someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
As I ask what I am to do with the brothers in arms near me I
hear pastor Troy just this morning recite this, Passage. We are to lift one another up and share our burdens.
We are to help our brothers with their struggles and not get Haughty and fall
back into the same temptation we are helping to free our brothers from. We must
know that we are not the ones who does anything to free a man we are only the
willing vessel the Holy Spirit works through to do the work of the Father.
I ask you men in my life who are you?
I ask you men are you listening to the call on your life?
I ask you men are you hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit
in your life?
I ask you men are you being obedient to the call upon your
life?
I ask you men to evaluate where you are and bring it to your
brothers and seek the help you need to stay on track or on your path as needed.
I ask you men to seek help if you need it to move forward.
I ask you men to give thanks to the men you have willing to
help you in all you do.
I ask you men to pray for the men that you have that lifts
you in this walk.
Father, we come to you today and ask that you guide us men
through this struggle we face from time to time in life. Father, we ask that
you show us how to not give up on you. We know your Word says you are always
here and will never forsake us. Father, show us how to give back to you the
same. Father, show us how to give to our brothers and sisters around us. Father,
show us how to lift one another up and keep you in the forefront of our Minds.
Father, we thank you for your continued guidance and direction through the Holy
Spirit. Father, we ask that you give us courage to never give up on you or one
another again, in the loving precious bountiful amazing anointed blessed and
gracious name of Christ Jesus, Amen!
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for
I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my
righteous right hand.” Don't allow confusion and fear of the future to make you
give up. Instead, trust in the Lord.
