Moses in Midian -->> Aaron is Moses Spokes person

As Moses was at a well in Midian some women of the Priest were watering their fathers flock. Some herdsmen tried to run them off and Moses sent them on their was. The women went home and told their father what had happened and then the Priest told the women to go get this man and bring him so they could feed him. Reuel the Priest gave Moses Zipporah as his wife and Moses was content to live there with them. Now all the ones who were after Moses had died since he parted from Egypt.

Exodus 2

Moses was tending his father-in-laws flock at Horeb the mountain of God. While there he seen a burning bush that wasn't being consumed by the fire and the Lord Spoke to him and told him to remove his shoes that this was a holy place. The Lord told Moses of his peoples suffering and he told Moses to go and tell the Pharaoh to release His children. Moses asked his father-in-law if he go and check on his people.  He granted it.

Exodus 3

God showed Moses some miraculous signs to show the people and the Pharaoh to make them believe in the Lord. Moses then told the Lord I am not eloquent and don't speak well. The Lord was angry with Moses but He told Moses to use Aaron his brother to speak for him. The Lord gave Moses the staff to show people who the Lord their God is.

Exodus 4

So Moses went up from Midian and took his family with him and he met Aaron his brother on the way. Zipporah Moses' wife circumcised their sons on the road to Egypt. Moses and Aaron told Pharaoh what the Lord their God Spoke to them. Pharaoh refused them and make the people mee the same quota and had to even go and gather more straw on their own instead of getting it from the Egyptians. The people complained and spoke to Moses and Aaron saying why have you done this look how Pharaoh treats us even worse now. Moses asked God and God said wait till He finishes and His people will be free. The Lords lists the family Lineage of Moses and Aaron. Aaron became the spokesman for Moses to Pharaoh and for the people.

Exodus 5-6

I think Moses was having a hard time following the Lord and His quest He had laid out for him. He was too long living in fear for himself. Moses was living in a lie that wasn't what the Lord had make his promises. I want to think that as I hear the Lord my God speaking to me that I obey and receive His blessings poured up and over my being.

Thank you father for all your blessings and all your protection in my life and in the lives of all those in my life. I give you all the honor and glory and praise that I have in me Father. I ask and praise in the loving beautiful amazing awesome gracious humble name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Pharaoh gave Jacob and family the best of land -->> Moses fled to Midian

Pharaoh gave Jacob and his family the best of land in Goshen. Pharaoh even gave Jacob and his family control over his personal livestock and put the most competent herdsmen in charge. Joseph deals with the famine that was ravaging the land of Canaan and Egypt. Joseph vows to Jacob to take his body back to his father's burial place.

Genesis 47

Jacob blesses Joseph's sons, he gave His youngest the greater blessing but still blessed them both. Jacob spoke a blessings over all his sons according to their blessings. Jacob passed and was taken back to Canaan to the family burial cave with his wife Leah and his father and father's father. Pharaoh sent a procession of servants of Pharaoh with the elders of Pharaoh and all Joseph's family and his brothers families and their elders. It was a great gathering. They gathered there and mourned for seven days as thier custom.

Genesis 48-50

Now that Jacob was passed the brothers thought that Joseph might now get even and hold it against them since their father was gone. Joseph assured them that there was nothing to worry about. He assured them that they may have meant it for his bad but the Lord meant it for all their good, by being in the position to help their people. Joseph blessed his children and died at 110 years old. He was embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt.

Genesis 50

Israel became a nation in Egypt. When a new King in Egypt rose to power he knew nothing of the Hebrews, so he feared that they would be a force to recon with if they sided with their enemies. So, the new Pharaoh told his people to hold them back by all means necessary. The more they pressed on the Hebrew people the more they prospered and the more they grew. The Pharaoh had the maidservants Drown the male children of the Hebrews. A mother in the house of Levi bore a son and hid him for 3 months, but once he was too old to hide she placed him in a basket upstream for the Pharaoh's daughter and set him loose to approach her as she bathed in the river with her servants. She seen him and had her servant retrieve him. She took him as her son, and raised him, she had a Hebrew woman take him and nurse him till he was old enough for food. Moses grew up, one day he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew man and he killed him and hid his body. later he saw a Hebrew man abusing his brother and he asked why would you abuse your own blood. They asked who made you prince and judge over us? Do you plan to kill us as you did the Egyptian? Moses feared that the Pharaoh might know of this so he fled. The Pharaoh found out and he sought to kill Moses but Moses was already gone.

Exodus 1-2:15

I always admired the gumption of Moses' mother. She risked all for her son. She then was able to still nurse her son by her daughter being the Pharaoh's servant. I always wondered the Name of Moses' mother but the bible doesn't say that I have ever seen. It just said a man of the tribe of Levi took a bride from a daughter of the tribe of Levi. I always figured Moses wouldn't have needed to flee if he had faced the Pharaoh and used his mother the Pharaoh's sister as a guard. I always figured he would have been viewed as family to the Pharaoh. Just not enough info to find out the truth. This was just my feeling. I loved the fact that Jacob wished to be buried with his family. I always figured Joseph would too. I look forward to learning more about the things that the Lord chooses to reveal to me this time around.

Father I thank you for your love and your blessings upon my soul and that of my family. I give you all the honor glory and praise I have in me. I pray that you will continue to bless my walk through your Word. I pray you reveal who you are more and more as I study your Word. I ask all this is in the blessed beautiful amazing glorious fantastic humble name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Joseph's Brother's to Egypt -->> Jacob settles in Goshen

Now this is very interesting how Joseph does his brothers, not that they don't deserve more, but he really plays them well. Joseph's brothers don't recognize him when they come to Egypt to get grain. Joseph keeps Simeon as prisoner till they get back with their youngest brother Benjamin. He sent them on their way and filled their sacks with grain and placed their money back in their bags. Hmm! They thought what's up here? They had no clue what was going on. This was really perplexing then and they didn't know what to think, they were a bit worried and even thought it to be a test. They told their father Jacob what had happened and what the Prime Minister (Joseph unbeknownst to them at the time) had told them to do. Jacob was hesitant about giving them Ben to go back with them. He did want them to go back to get more grain, but the boys wasn't wanting to go without Ben. Jacob agreed. they went down and the Egyptians took them into Joseph's home and they didn't know what was gonna happen. They were worried about being in trouble for having the money from the last trip down. Simeon was excited to see their return. Joseph fed them and had their bags filled again with grain and had his servant place his personal cup in young Ben's bag along with their money in the tops of their bags as well, just like the last time. He let them leave and then he had his guards go after them and stop them to search them to find his personal cup. He found it in the Young Ben's bag, and he asked what this was, them taking advantage of him and his generosity after all he had done for them. He told them he was gonna place Ben in prison and then Judah begged to take his place because his father wouldn't live through losing another son. Joseph couldn't take it any longer and he finally told them who he was. They all embraces and they couldn't believe he was still alive, and in such standing in the Pharaoh's house. The Pharaoh found out and invited them to come and stay in the land of Goshen in a nearby the city. The Pharaoh even sent his carts and help back home with them to bring the young and old and the livestock and all they owned. So it was that Jacob left Canaan to go and live in the land of Goshen.

Genesis 42-46

I have always loved this story and yea I could have been more detailed but these are some of the things that really spoke to me in regards to how Joseph played and blessed his brothers and they just simply couldn't figure out what was going on. The other part that really get me and it must have hit them too when they finally realized that his dreams came true when they came to Egypt and Called Joseph master and Lord and they all bowed to him. Now I realize this wasn't realized at first but you know it soon had to be when they had time to process the situation. Just think knowing the realization of the Lord's vision upon your younger brother coming true all these years later, especially when you thought he was dead. This would be an absolute amazement to behold for sure. This is when the realization of knowing how blessed their brother is and how the Lord must be using him in the saving of their family. If we all really think and look back upon our own history I'm sure we can see situations in which we find or we see God's work in our past and realize the blessing we have in our lives. The Lord works in mysterious ways for sure.

Genesis 42:6 ESV - Now Joseph was governor over the land. He was the one who sold to all the people of the land. And Joseph's brothers came and bowed themselves before him with their faces to the ground.

Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Father thank you for the continual blessings you have placed over my life even when I never seen or recognized them. I thank you Father for the intercession you placed in my life when I needed it and especially when I didn't see it. I know you work all things out for your glory Father, thank you. I give you all the honor praise & glory I have in me. I pray all in the wonderful counseling gracious loving humbling kind benevolent respectful praising glorious name above all names Christ Jesus, Amen!

Judah and Tamar --> Joseph in charge of Egypt

Judah is leaves his family and married a Canaanite woman. He had three sons, he found a wife for his eldest (Tamar). His son died before having children, then Judah had his second son marry her and he dies before having children. Then he had her go back home to her father's home until his youngest son comes of age to marry. Judah's daughter dies and Judah is comforted. He goes out to his sheep shearers and Tamar found out and she disguises herself as a harlot and she fools Judah and he beds her and she becomes with child. Judah still didn't know this was his daughter-in-law until she was three months with child and she bore twins Perez and Zerah.

Genesis 38

Joseph was taken to Egypt as a slave, he was taken by Potiphar a captain of the guard for Pharaoh. Potiphar seen the favor of the Lord upon Joseph and put him in charge of all his household. Potiphar's wife took a liking to Joseph and tried to seduce him day after day, but he continued to refuse her over and over. One day she had no one home and she tried again and Joseph fled her and she had his coat while he fled. She claimed he tried to take her because he kept refusing her. Potiphar had Joseph put into Pharaoh's prison. Now the prison warden seen the favor of the Lord upon Joseph and he put him in charge of all the prisoners and all in the prison. During his time in there the Pharaoh put his baker and his butler in there. They both had dreams and Joseph correctly interpreted both of them. He asked that when the butler remember him with the Pharaoh when he got out. The butler forgot, until one day the Pharaoh had a dream and no one could interpret it and the butler told the Pharaoh about Joseph and his interpretation of it. The Pharaoh told them to bring him immediately. Joseph was brought before Pharaoh and he interpreted the dream of Pharaoh. Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the entire country except of him. Joseph was correct in his interpretation of the Pharaoh's dreams of 7 years of prosperity and then followed by 7 years of famine. So with Joseph's knowledge of the famine he made Egypt the only country to have food during the famine. Everyone in the surrounding countries came to Egypt for food.

Genesis 39-41

I have always thought that this was one of the most amazing stories of the Bible. Joseph and how he continued to be blessed and that all those around him and over him seen the favor of the Lord upon his life. In all his trouble at least from our view he still was living and honoring God in all he did. He continued to give honor and glory to God in his life. I have always looked up to Joseph and his attitude towards life.

Father we give you all the honor and glory this day and every day. I wish to thank you for all your blessings upon my life and my understanding of your word. I thank you for giving me the ability to understand read and reflect your Word in all I study. I pray you continue to give me a greater understanding of your Word as I continue to study it. I ask all this in the heavenly blessed humbled gracious marvelous name above all names, Amen!

Young Joseph

Joseph sounds like a typical spoiled younger brother. I'd guess he was looking up to his older brothers in his own way by bragging to them about the dreams he had. His spoiled upbringing and pampering by his father made him a bit arrogant. I think he loved his family and his father and he always received that affection back from his father but not his brothers. I figure his tall tales of a story is what he perceived as an opportunity to relate or share with his brothers, how ever his thinking was misguided. He found the dreams to be awesome that he being the youngest would rule over his father and brothers. Yea, awesome. He was the one always taking orders but in his dreams he would be giving them and that excited him and he wanted to share it with the ones he looked up too, but they didn't receive it as admiration but as arrogance and even a threat. This is why the complete lack of clear communication and misunderstanding of feelings for others can lead to a hate instead of a love that should be there. So, this lead Joseph's brother's to kill their brother, but someone's frame of mind led them to not take their brothers life but to sell him instead into slavery never to be seen again. They realized they couldn't and didn't wanna live with the blood of their brother on their hands.

Genesis 37

I see this often in our world today, we live in a preconceived world of misunderstandings of how we feel about others in our lives. The thing we all need to do is live in a loving and honest relationship with all we encounter, outside of arrogance and judgement. This society we live in is so confusing and meant to miscommunicate all of us from one another, but by the truth of the Holy Spirit that lives in us He will give us clarity and wisdom to discern the truth from the lies of the enemy who has trained the world to mislead us in everything it thinks is normal.

Father I thank you for being the strength to my messed up mind at times and for being the salvation in your son to my soul. I thank you for Holy Spirit living in me and guiding me to the truth through complete discernment. I ask that you continue to help guide me into all you have for me. Help me to continually see the truth and for the truth to always set me free. I give you all the honor, glory, and praise. All things asked and given in the wonderful amazing beautiful luxurious humble loving gracious marvelous name above all other name, Christ Jesus of Nazareth, Amen!

Abraham's new wife - Israel and Esau settle in

I guess I have forgotten or it simply didn't ever register to me that Abraham remarried and had additional children. I had alway thought that he only ever had Ishmael by Hagar and Isaac by Sarah. Not really surprising knowing the promises God gave him. However for my knowledge of belief it's very surprising. I had always thought that those two boys were it.

Genesis 25

Another shocker to me was Ishmael and Isaac buried their father. I had always assumed Ishmael and Isaac were never to get along, but I see it now as more of a Sarah jealous thing.

Genesis 25

The family's of both Ishmael and Isaac are listed. Isaac's wife Rebekah has twin with which she has difficulties with boring. The Lord told her that she would have two nations separated from her and the old would serve the younger.

Genesis 25

Esau sells his birthright to his younger brother for a bowl of soup and some bread cause he felt as though he was gonna starve and die. Esau despised his birthright.

Genesis 25

Isaac and Abimelech have differences after Abraham's death. Here I see another generational sin of lying Isaac tells Abimelech that Rebekah is his sister not his wife. Isaac moves on from this region/area till he finds a place with a which he doesn't have disputed with Abimelech over the wells no longer, and he settles in Beersheba.

Genesis 26

Isaac blesses Jacob and not Esau. Isaac loved Esau and Rebekah loved Jacob, so when Isaac told Esau to get game and make a meal for him so he could bless him. Rebekah overheard and got Jacob to deceive his father and received the blessing intended for the Older son (Esau). Yea, he may have given up his birthright but he hadn't given up his blessing. Now, when Esau had returned he found out what had happened he was furious with Jacob and he wanted to kill him. Now, Rebekah seeing this sent Jacob away to stay with her brother to hide from his brother till he cooled down. So, It seems to me Rebekah manipulated Isaac into sending Jacob away to Laban Rebekah's brother. So, Jacob gets away from Esau.

Genesis 27-28 -

Esau married Mahalath daughter of Ishmael in addition to his previous wives. During Jacob's trip to Padan Aram he dreamed and dreamed of a ladder to heaven with angels going to and from. God came to him and said He would always be with him. Jacob called it a gateway of heaven. Jacob called the place Bethal. Jacob vowed to follow God as He was with him and would give Him a tenth of all God gave him.

Genesis 28

No Jacob moves on to Laban and meets Rachel daughter of Laban and he falls for her immediately. He goes to Laban and asks for her hand and agrees to work for him for 7 years to get his daughter Rachael's hand. He does so and prospers Laban in all he does. When time comes Laban deceived Jacob and gives him Leah, Laban's eldest daughter instead, but Jacob loved Rachel the younger daughter. Now Jacob vows to give 7 more years of service to Laban for Rachel. He does and he gets his daughter Rachael. Now God seen that Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah and he closed up Rachel's womb. Leah gave Jacob boys and Rachel had none. Rachel was jealous and envied Leah. Leah gave her maidservant to Jacob to bore children to him from her. Leah dried up and gave her maidservant to Jacob to bore more children for her. Rachel finally had a child and called him Joseph. Now Jacob agrees to work for Laban for a while longer and tend his livestock and Jacob would only take the spotted and blemished and the brown lambs from among the livestock and he would leave the pure ones with Laban.

Genesis 29-30

Now Jacob flees from Laban and takes his wives and children and livestock. He fears Laban will kill him and take his family and possessions from him. Laban pursues Jacob and says he's after what was stolen from him (his gods, carved statues) Rachel had taken them. Jacob knew not of her taking them so he told Laban to search all there was there with them and place what was his at his feet and let the people decide and nothing was found. Laban called for a peace there and then that they would neither pass this spot where they were ever again, each remaining on his side. Laban likely feared Jacob.

Genesis 31

Esau comes to meet Jacob. Jacob is now really in fear of his brother, he just knows his brother has come to kill him. Esau was coming with 400 men. so Jacob divided his camp into 2 groups so the others could split if Esau attacked the one the others would be able to get away. Jacob sent servants ahead of him with countless gifts to his brother. I think as a bribe to not harm him. Now when Esau gets close Jacob bowes to him in service to his brother. When Esau reaches Jacob he hugs and kisses on him and holds him in embrace. Esau tells Jacob why the gifts but Jacob says because the Lord blesses him he wishes to bless his brother. Esau says he's blessed and doesn't need them to keep them but Jacob insistes. Jacob introduces his family to his brother Esau. Esau tries to get his brother to come on with him but Jacob wants to take it slow because of the young children and mothers and the livestock lest not they fall on the way. So, now Esau goes on his way and tells Jacob to join him.

Genesis 32-33

Now on the way Jacob bought land from Hamor father of Shechem in the land of Canaan. Now Shechem son of Hamor defiled and raped Jacob's daughter Dinah. Shechem was in love with her and asked with his father if he could marry her. Shechem said let him do whatever he must and would do it to marry Dinah. Jacob didn't say anything but his son's did. they said no way was they good enough and not acceptable with the Lord their God. They told them that they would have to circumcise all the men in their tribe to become a part of them and they would be the same. They agreed and circumcised all the men. on the third day when they were all swollen and sore Simeon and Levi went in and killed all the men and stole all their goods and livestock and women and children. Jacob was very upset and feared they people of the area would retaliate for there was more of them then they. Jacob took his family to Bethal and the Lord spoke to him to let him know He was with him. He told him that he was now to be called Israel and to go and multiply. Rachel died giving birth to a second child Benjamin who she called Ben-Oni. Now Jacob had 12 son's. Isaac died in Hebron his and his father's home, Jacob and Esau buried him there. Esau and Jacob had such vast families that they agreed they couldn't live in same area so Esau moved on to Seir and Jacob stayed. Esau is Edom and the father of the Edomites.

Genesis 34-36

This time through the word already in my first week has really enlightened me and corrected my misunderstanding on many things already. I'm so excited I don't wanna put it down. I relish all the Lord opens me up to in my continued study.

Father I give you thanks and glory in all I do. I pray my study brings more and more glory to your kingdom as it invigorates my desire and fills my life with more of you with deeper understanding. Father you have all my praise and worship. I ask that you continue to fill me with all you have to give. I ask all in the loving blessed magnificent blessed wonderful loving precious humble name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

Giving Comfort in time of Trial/Suffering

Lord I look to you to show me how to give comfort in times of trouble, times of trial, times of death, times of loss, and just times of lost faith. I ask what gives me the qualities to comfort others in these areas? Especially when it may be something I don't have or something I haven't faced. Like the loss of a child or battling the potential loss of a child.

Lord I leaned on a couple of profound scriptures today.

1 Corinthians 4:10 NKJV - 10 We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored! You will never give me more than I can handle

2 Corinthians 13:9 NKJV - 9 For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, that you may be made complete.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - 3 No temptation[1] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[1] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[1] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

I had a very dear friend call me this evening as I was driving home from a family gospel concert tonight. She asked if I was busy, I said no. So, she asked if I could meet her to talk at Braum's. I said sure. Anyhow, a little bit later we met at Braum's I was expecting her to tell me about her husband and the things she was facing with the hardship there with him being in an assisted living home. It's been a daunting task for her because he has always been a strong man and from what I gather a strong willed man as well. Anywho, this isn't what she was wanting to speak of. She just found out about her son being in the hospital fighting stage 5 heart failure and stage 4 renal failure. She hasn't spoken to him in several months due to his blatant disrespect, this young man is only 33 years old. He's lived a life with some choices he's not too proud of now and it's part of what's put him where he's at. I was in an aaahhh! I didn't know what to say. I was completely dependant upon the leading of the Holy Spirit. I spoke of the strength he gives us when we are in need of it. I spoke of the Joy of the Lord He has given me when I faced some dire situations with my children. I spoke of the Lord never placing more on us than we can handle. All of this is good and true, but is it what this beautiful strong courageous woman of God wants to hear, of even needs to hear. I try to listen more than I speak of course, but the Lord knows my mouth, it doesn't slow much. but by His grace I think I succeeded. I tried to give as much support and comfort as I can. I truly feel for this Woman more than words could ever express. After the night shift ran us off, we prayed right there on the sidewalk with her releasing her son to the Lord for His will to be done and to glorify Him in all that happens. We prayed to release her heart to the Lord for comfort guidance and peace. We prayed to let the Lord wash over her with love wisdom and understanding to know what to do and how to handle all this situation.

Now, as I left I was praying for her and her son all the way home and her husband. I ask what do I have to think of in my life to give comfort to those that are facing loss or severe grief. I have had a little grief in my life but never to the extremity of a child facing death. I then heard the Lord reveal to me yes you have. I thought for a minute then in my soul I seen it. we all face the thought of losing our loved ones to the grave. A physical grave maybe not, but a spiritual grave of eternal hell and damnation. Yes, we have. anytime a loved one or anyone in our lives are facing this yes we have faced this same thing. We tend to look at it from a fleshly stand point of if it's not physical its not really happening, but let me tell you brothers and sisters we are all facing this same thing with those in your lives. Do your children know God? Are your children on the path to find God in all they do? Does your children have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, God or Holy Spirit? Have you gotten through to them? Have you tried to get through to them? Have you been leading by example?

We ask all these questions! Hummm! What do we think now? Well first we must reflect upon the questions. Are we doing that? Yes, we may not have faced the the actual death bed with a loved one, but have you looked to see if your child is facing Hell in their walk? Look in the mirror and ask how am I seen by my loved ones and all those around me. What am I doing to glorify God in my example to my children? know that we can give God all of who we are and He will strengthen us. He will show us a peace and a love and understanding more than we ever knew was possible. Know that as long as those loved ones in our lives draws breath we still have a chance to lead them home and show them the way to Christ Jesus. They may or may not lose this battle they face at the moment. Even if they do know that, you can feel a peace about where they are going and a love for the Lord in the midst of this grief. He will give you strength in this time of your weakness. Just know that I ascribe to all who will repent and turn to Him will be healed. I have to know and keep the faith that death is not the way it must end, No, He can and will bring us complete and utter Restoration in all we do and all our losses. Nothing is too far gone for the Lord Jesus Christ. So, I speak life and I speak life more abundantly over all situations we may face.

Colossians 3:15 NKJV - 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Father I thank you right not for a friend such as this. We sweep all we are to the foot of the cross and choose all we walk in. Father we thank you for all the continual comfort we have received and continue to receive. Help me to look like Jesus. Help me to think like Jesus. Help me to reach all that are facing a death sentence and bring them to you, no matter if it's physical or spiritual. Help us to find peace and help us to help those in our lives to find peace in all we do. In the loving precious wonderous graceful kind loving humbling amazing righteous gracious name above all names, Christ Jesus, Amen!

Issac to Rebekah

Genesis 21

Issac is born to an aging Abraham, all as the Lord God had promised. We must remember the promises of the Lord our God in all His Word. Seek and ye shall find Christ Jesus has said. Study to show thy self approved.

2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV - 15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV - 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

There are promises all throughout the Word of God, we must seek first His kingdom with all our hearts. The only way to succeed in this to be in the Word of God. We must Study the Word to be approved to God.

Genesis 21

Now that Isaac is born to Sarah she looks upon Ishmael and is jealous, she doesn't desire Isaac to share his inheritance with his brother of her bondservant. She tells Abraham to get rid of him and his mother Hagar which is her (Sarah's) bondservant. Abraham didn't wanna do this but the Lord his God told him to do as she wished and that Ishmael was of his seed so he would multiply him.

Genesis 22

Now the Lord his God tested Abraham. God commanded him to go and sacrifice his son as a burnt offering to the Lord his God. Abraham done as he was directed by God. but right after he built an alter laid the wood and bound his son Isaac and placed him on the altar he raised his knife to give his son as commanded by the Lord his God, an angel of the Lord his God stopped him and told him not to harm the boy. Then he turns and a ram in the thicket is provided to him for his sacrifice.

Now this has always been a very tough one for me. I think on this and I pray on this and it's still tough. I'm so regretful or I was so regretful for my past actions. I used to put my boys up on a pedestal. I placed them above all else in my life. nothing or no one was ever going to amount to nothing compared to my boys. They were always first and foremost in my life. I openly placed my boys before God. Thank you Father for your mercy and grace, I clearly don't deserve, but I know you have forgiven me, and cast it as far as from the east to the west. I now know my place in this world and only want to be able to give that wisdom and knowledge to my children now and let them forget the wicked knowledge that I had raised them in. I do all I can to live a life for the Father and follow His will as He lays it in my path. I continually desire to live the remainder of my life only for the Father. Holy Spirit Help me be all you desire and will for me to be in the sight of God.

Genesis 22-23

Abraham learns of his brothers family, Sarah passes and he grieves. Abraham purchases land for his family to be buried in. Now Ephron was very fond of Abraham and he wants to give the Land to Abraham, but Abraham kindly refuses a gift he insists upon the purchase of the land to lay his bride (Sarah) to rest. I see this as he desired a place of his purchase that no one could ever come back and dispute, a place that would forever be his family's burial ground.

Genesis 23:19-20 - 19 And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah, before Mamre (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan. 20 So the field and the cave that is in it were deeded to Abraham by the sons of Heth as property for a burial place.

Genesis 24

Now this chapter I could go all day about but at this moment I lack the time to do so. Abraham sent his oldest and most trusted servant to fetch a wife for his son Isaac. Abraham made him promise to not take a woman from the Canaanites and to go back to the land of his father in Mesopotamia. Abraham's servant swore it in an oath. He departed and found Rebekah, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother. The servant spoke with God this day asking for a woman for his master's son Isaac, and before he even completed in the asking of the Lord of his Master she appeared and was exactly as he requested. He claimed her and her family agreed and she agreed and she went with him to return to be the wife of his master Isaac. They went back to Isaac and Isaac took her as his wife.

I think this is such an amazing story. The love in it. The faith in the servant. The faith in the Lord to provide his wife. Isaac took who the Lord brought for him and he loved her gratefully. nowadays we cant even be happy with our own choices let alone someone else's. If we only put our trust and faith in the Lord with everything in our lives we could be so happy not content but happy, continually filled with the joy of the Lord. I want to be continually filled with the Joy of the Lord my God.

Father please help me from this day forward to place my trust and my love in you. Help me to have the faith of Isaac in my life, help me to have the faith of Abraham to lay all I have on the altar of sacrifice to you. I want nothing between you and me Father. Help me enrich my life to only glorify you in all I do. Father I beg your forgiveness in all my selfish petty desires, please let my only desire be to fulfill your will over my life and all those around me. I give you all the honor and glory that could ever be had. I pray all this in the wonderful redeeming gracious precious marvelous glorious humble thankful sacrificial name above all name, Christ Jesus of Nazareth, Amen!

Abram to Issac

I thought this was pretty relevant to the Grace and Mercy of God, but also a revelation to His blessings. He tells Abram to get up and out of his father's house and away from his family. This is really unheard of in this culture. Family never leaves family. They stay together forever and support one another and make each other stronger. However, here in this time I think God wants Abram to learn to trust in Him and Him alone. By leaving all he had ever known and all his family He was totally dependant upon the Lord to lead him. I think the Lord desires for all of us to learn to lean on Him and know that there is never a need to lean elsewhere.

Genesis 12

Now it didn't take long for Abram to forget his reliance upon God. He soon lied to the king in Egypt and said Sarai his wife that she was his sister for fear of his death over her beauty.

Genesis 12

Now when Abram and Lot came back from Egypt they realized that their flocks, heards, and people together were too much for this land and they split up for the betterment of both.

Genesis 13

The Lord leads Abram to free Lot from his oppressors and all his belongings. Melchizedek and Abram part ways amicably. Then the Lord leads Abram into a Covenant to inherit the land as promised of Canaan. The covenant consists of circumcision of all the males of 8 days and older from now till always as a sign of their covenant with God.

Genesis 14

Now there were a lot of wrongs committed here in this time of Abrams life. He and Sarai lost faith in the Lord Most High. Sarai gave her maidservant to Abram to bore him a child and she did with Ishmael. Then Sarai gets jealous of Hagar and wants her gone. The Lord's Angels send her back with the knowledge of knowing her son will be the father of multitudes. Now, The covenant of circumcision consists of circumcision of all the males of 8 days and older from now till always as a sign of their covenant with God. Abram now becomes Abraham and Sarai becomes Sarah from this point on. Abraham means father of many nations, and Sarah is mother of nations.

Genesis 15-17

The Lord remembers the promise he gave to Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, but had still bore no children by Sarah and His promise was to Abraham through Sarah. So, at 99 He's circumcised and at 100 hundred for him and 90 for Sarah he bore Isaac. Now Sodom and Gamora are to be destroyed buy the Angels of the the Lord Most High, but Abraham pleads with God to save it if he could only find a few righteous men. The Lord agrees but they found none but Lot and his family. unfortunately Lots wife and sons-in-laws chose the destruction of sin to call on their hearts instead of the Lords.

Genesis 18-19

Now this is so messed up and really demented in my mind that Lots daughters would be so perverse that they would see that Lot has no male heirs so they take it upon themselves to get their father Lot drunk and lay with him to be impregnated by him so they can keep the lineage of lot going. True this is not a thing in my mind that's cool, but also I'm not of that culture. I understand the importance of lineage in that day and age and even today, but I feel that Lot could have remarried or other options. But I feel that the girls (Lots daughters) were likely corrupted by the corruption from Sodom and Gamora just as Lots wife was (reason for her looking back).

Genesis 19

Now, Abraham lies to Abimelek king of Gerar in regards to his wife Sarah again for fear of his life and lack of faith in the Lord. The Lord did come to Abimelek and told him of who Sarah and who Abraham were. he gave Sarah back to Abraham and gave of many things and he told Abraham to say wherever he wished all he sees was his. Now then Abraham prayed to God and He healed Abimelek's women to be able to bore children one again.

Genesis 19

Now I know Abraham is known as the father of many nations and a man of faith but this shows that even in his failures God has a hand on him and continually blessed him in his repentance. Abraham does have a repentant heart and was obedient to the Lord in his understanding, but still had times of doubt and unbelief, even faithlessness.

Father please help me to live with a growth and repentant heart as Abraham. I wish to be as blessed as this man is. I'm not even half the age of him. Father give me your love and affection upon my life and the life of my children and their children. in the precious loving caring wonderous marvelous humble giving name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

In the beginning

I ponder the beginning of all things. it would be wondrous to behold the creation of all things. The comprehension of the creation of the heavens and the earth. the creation of the stars and the universe. So amazing the complexity of all things working together for the good of God. absolutely amazing. He made us in His image. WoW!

Genesis 1:26-27 - 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

I could go on and on about the possibilities of the creation of all things and he did this in a day and that in a day, I mean wow! Yea, Wow! So I move on I ask where Cain was to know that he was to give God of his first fruits? Yea, I now know thats what Christ Jesus has directed as well and numerous other before. but nothing was mentioned before in  the Word. Yea, sure I grasp why but are we just under the impression that Cain was just to know since His dad and mom knew? Just spinning questions here, that's all. I ask that the Lord lead me into His understanding of the Word and not my own, I know I'm capable of messing it all up. Thank you Father that by your grace I am able to be set free and have been. I feel for Cain because of the not knowing that we can see in the Word.

Genesis 4:1-5 - 1 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore [a]Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.” 2 Then she bore again, this time his brother [b]Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And [c]in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. 4 Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, 5 but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.

Now I see the rebuke of the Lord with the anger Cain showed because of his sin through or with his anger. I know that we can be anger but not sin, which I know to be very hard as one who lives in this fleshly world. I know I'm not capable without the Lord's guidance upon my life, and the grace He has bestowed upon me.

God created before He created us, I would gather. otherwise how would he have other children that are spoken of in the Word.

Genesis 6:1-4 - 1 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive[a] with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” 4 There were [b]giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

I wonder how did this happen without the God putting a stop to it sooner. Why would God allow His children of old to mate with these children of men? I believe God loves us all and we are all His children, but we are the first to be made in His image, So! Humh?

This is something I draw more questions on. I look to the Lord for all my understanding and not that of the world, because the world is so broken. God himself even condemned the world until he found Noah to be a man of Him. He found Noah praising and worshiping Him.

Genesis 6:5-8 - 5 Then [c]the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent[d] of the thoughts of his heart was only evil [e]continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

I know this is all a ramble but that's the way this mind works. I ramble through this all and the Lord will set me straight in the ways he irons me out. I so love the fact of pondering these question. I know that the Lord is using this time and approach to help me grow into the Man of God He desires me to be.

Before I part I ponder another question! Did Eve and Adam love one another as we do today? I understand God's love as a rule but not in its complexity. God loves beyond our comprehension. God's love is void of emotion. God's love I believe is full of emotion! I mostly see God's love void of emotion to help me grasp that it's a choice, yea a choice. No turning back no changing your mind. A simple choice. God chooses to love us. So, where do Adam and Eve set here? How long did they walk the earth with God before they fell? Why didn't they have children before they fell? What took so long? He told them to go forth and multiply. Did they have a love for one another? Since they were as God in their formation was their love as God's love simply a choice? I think not because the first time differences arose Adam turned on Eve. He blamed God for Eve's sin and causing him to sin. Even after the fall they still remained together. No divorce here! When did the emotions fall into this relationship? Was it gradual or immediate? Just asking here. Wanting to get a clearer understanding.

Yea, I could go on and on Father but I ask that in your time and your ways that I might come to an understanding and a comprehension of all you desire me to have. I know all things are not for me to know in my time but in the time you have laid them out for me. Thank you Father for you Love and for your wisdom to know me and to and what I need and when. I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ and for the ever leading Holy Spirit that lives in me. Father I thank you for Adam and Eve they are my ancestors and I know you have a lot to teach me through their lives. Father I ask that you continue to help me Grow to be the Man of God you desire me to be. I ask only that you continually help me to grow in you, in the ever loving beautiful wonderous amazing humble name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

Adult children's trouble

I know we place our children on the Cross and leave them there, just as the Lord has directed. When we see our adult children fall into a life of trouble in any way it really doesn't matter, then we hurt with them. When your child is in trouble of the heart, we ach with them. We are still emotional beings who only want to comfort our children. Now, I know there is no harm in this whatsoever. I also know that there is a problem there when we find ourselves being more than a shoulder to cry on. If we find ourselves to doing things and trying to make more decisions for them. If we continually are giving unsolicited advice, then we are stepping in the job of the Holy Spirit. No, matter the place we find ourselves we are still to love our children and turn it all over to God.  When our children come to us for advice and direction, we must remember that we are all children of God. We need to just give it over to God and teach our children to do the same. Our best advice is that we tell our children to give it to God and trust in Him, know the Holy Spirit will lead them. We also should know that our children won't always listen to our advice even when asked for. We mustn't get mad at them when they don't listen to our advice. We need to remember we have all faced adversity in our lives, we must learn that we need to rely on the heavenly Father and not people. This is the only way we can truly be lifted out of whatever we fall into.

I fall to these scriptures when it comes to my children:

In the Word/Speaking the Word over my life/Put your hand to the Plow

I've been hearing from the Holy Spirit about getting in the Word myself instead of relying on others (Pastor, Preacher, Teacher, Bible Study Leader, etc.etc...). It's been very consuming in my thoughts and my time. I think on my brother Greg and how disciplined he is in his walk and dedication to reading the Word daily. How dedicated he is to blogging or writing his thoughts down with the Lord daily. I truly look up to this man in this and he's such an inspiration and always has been to me. I want to be this way in my dedication to my walk with the Lord.

I have been led to start a Men's group and invite those men that I believe are most promising and influential in my life. These men are influencers in their own nations and setting to do God's work of building disciples in their own walks. Greg has been a huge supporter and encourager in this arena of my urging. I also have been feeling a leading into a world of Vlogging (youtube, blogger, wordpress, facebook, etc. etc...). its new to me and not in my comfort zone to be sure. I know all I ever need to fulfill the will of God in my life, all things needed will be provided and that includes my abilities. I continually wish to not let pride or ego dictate any part of my walk. I don't want any arrogance to ever have a chance to take a root. I would love to be able to express the love of Christ Jesus in me and not allow the enemy to diminish it in any way.

So all in all I see the love of Christ Jesus all over me in all things. My work, my relationship with Christ Jesus, my ministry walk, my church walk, my teaching walk, my fellowship walk with fellow saints, my submission in my following of the bible college I help with. I continually hear "Be in the Word for thy self!" Over and Over! I read the Word daily and haven't missed a day in about three months, and in the last 9 months only 2 or three days have I missed. Even on those days I continually hear the word in messages and worship. I never go a day without listening to the Word and likely worship music. This is a must have in my daily walk I can't give up, and won't! I think the Lord is just wanting me to spend more time in the Word with specific intentions upon my reading right then and there, and meditate on that and let it reflect throughout my soul.

Today while at church Pastor Missy said something that really spoke to me! You don't go to the refrigerator and say to the frig "Feed me!". No you have to open the door, you have to then respond to what's in front of you and make a decision and prepare yourself a plate, and then you have to feed yourself with what is provided. You have to speak out what's in the Word of God that you are studying. You can't just say bless me. You have to receive  the Word of God in your heart and comprehend what His will is for you. All I could ever need is provided but it's not just handed to me it's given as a gift for those that actually "put their hands to the plow" as Pastor Jose would say it. We need to do the work. He will provide all we could ever need. His work was done at the cross, yours has started there. So leave the world you live in there at the cross and see where He takes you when you choose to be obedient and repentant.

No, I truly don't like most all the things the Lord leads me into at first but once I settle into my obedience He shows me the comfort and the security and mostly the joy in doing all thing for the honor, and glory of God, not my own. I have found that the more I reflect on Him the happier my life becomes and the more blessed everything around me is. The Lord is the provision of my strength, He is the bearer of my sorrows. He teaches me to lay it (anything) at the foot of the cross and walk away. He fills the peace gauge in my heart to the brim when I am obedient in His direction and follow His will over my life and those around me.

So, Lord I know you are meeting me with a request to be in the Word more, daily!

You are telling me to proclaim the Word out of my mouth daily over my life and those around me!

Your telling me Father to get myself up out of bed in the early am hours and get in the word!

Your telling me to get to writing as I am now, as Greg does daily about my study that day!

You are telling me to practice more routine in my prayer life, being more specific in those prayers.

You are telling me to finish my Restoration Ministry about page!

You are encouraging me to continue with the Monday morning Atheist text!

You are telling me to start and finish my Men's group invite page as the Holy Spirit has led me!

You are telling me to quit finding more excuses to not start my Vlogging!

Your telling me to start the Domain!

Your telling me to start the Vlog, Now!

Your telling me to study for the Daniel class!

Your telling me to finalize things in my house (Living room wall, desk, video, kitchen, etc.etc...).

Your telling me to finish the weight room!

Your telling me to get certified in insurance!

Your telling me to get dad moved to the other room!

Your telling me to quit the television viewing more!

Your telling me to start my workouts back up!

Your telling me to start my running back up soon!

Your telling me I'm not alone.

I'm not without provision.

I'm no without support.

You are right here with me in everything, always!

No matter the size of my mountain God, I know you are bigger than anything I could ever imagine!

I thank you Father for all you do for me and I thank you into leading me into this reflection upon what you have been teaching me and commanding me to do. I thank you for the accountability that you will provide for me to push through to get this list done so I can start the next even greater list! I love your Father and ask for your strength to carry me through this. I ask this all in the precious glorious wonderful humble kind loving comforting honoring name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

God’s protection over me as a child

I was really perplexed this morning 3-10-22 over a comment one of the ladies put on our shared bible plan. She thanked God for His continued protection and blessing throughout her life. It really took me back to a time, then multiple times of my life. It really started a continued remembrance of events in my life that led to the Lord’s protection over me as a child.

I somehow always knew I was blessed and favored by God, not just the blessings that grandma tells you about but a deep don blessing that only comes with an anointing from God. I felt this my entire life and have known it always, but I allowed the world to steal it from me for years. The enemy is good at this, I personally think the enemy sees the anointing upon us when we yet don’t see it or don’t quite recognize it. We may feel it as it is upon us just as David did but it’s not yet ours to claim until the Lord’s call is made. We just have to walk it out in our lives till He calls. I failed in this, unlike David for years, but I have since then found His calling on my life. I don’t necessarily know the ends and out but I know the direction. I follow and He leads the way.

When I was a child it was between my 2nd and 3rd grade years of school. Me and my cousin was up to being boys. we seen the insulator on the chicken barn holding the electric line that went from pole to pole then nowhere. We didn't see any way the electric could go anywhere else. We were on top of the barn unscrewing the insulator taking turns. While It was my turn my cousin went to get more tools to help our task. As he was coming back I was getting close to having it off. It sparked as my cousin was walking back over and it was dragging him across the roof. It shocked me and pulled me off the 10-12 foot roof on my head sticking a nail in my head. After I fell I ran to my mother for comfort. I had to get a stitch in my head for the hole.

Now during my third grade year of school I had another accident. My dad was out burning some of the weeds around the out buildings at the place we lived. My brother and myself was helping out watching it and even adding some piles of hay here and there to make it get going. While I can only now assume dad was trying to keep it slow burning to keep from getting away from him. My dad hollered at me to get him buckets of water to help put the fire out. As I was running back with a second, third, or fourth bucket I stepped on a board with a nail in it. I ran to the house for my mother to let her know I was hurt and for her to look at it. I had to get a stitch in the toe. Dad did get the fire out. After a couple days or so my toe began to get infected. Mom took me back to the doctor, and they had to open it back up and clean it out. It wound up putting me in the hospital for a week while they scraped and cleaned on the toe and the bone. After going home I was a little better for a day or so but soon got worse again. I went to the doctor and got it scraped again. A couple of days later I had to go back to hospital again and got it scraped and clean some more. I was in the hospital again for 3 weeks. I came close to losing half my foot and had seven surgeries and several bone scrapings. This was very traumatic and tormenting for a 3rd grade child.

During this time of recovery while at home in the middle of the two hospital visits I lay on the couch in a fog of fever and fuzziness. I layed there and wrote a poem/song to the Lord for his help and deliverance from the enemy. I can actually remember laying there and singing this out loud to the Lord. I can remember my prayers to Him as I lay on that couch with fever and pain throughout my body. I even remember sharing it with my mother. I don't quite know if I still have the song, but I would relish the opportunity of reading it again. the innocence or a child with that child like faith. I remember the feeling of knowing the Lord had me and I was his just as that children's song says. 'He's got the whole world in His hands" "Jesus loves Me" I believe this was all a remembrance that the Lord wanted me to see the protection he provided me throughout my life even as such a young child. Now I can give countless more instances of these things but these are the two the Lord has brought to my mind this day.

I think back to the verse that speaks of bringing up a child in the Lord and they will come back to Him. This is a thought we should continue to think on throughout our lives. We need to continually remember the promises of God to us as we live our lives.

Lord, help me to alway reflect and think on your protection. Not just the current protection, but the protection you have continually provided even as a young child. I thank you Lord and give you all my praise, I give you honor and glory. Father, I ask all this in the blessed beloved comforting protecting gracious merciful humble fantastic awesome name of Christ Jesus, Amen!

Dilemma

 Dilemma

In service management there's always place for dilemma. I get puzzled on my thinking of how to act and how to react in a situation with customers. Let me better explain this.

I do a job for customers that signs-up for our services. Services are internet, television, and phone. Customer makes an appointment and gets the time and date set to an AM job, even requests a call before going.

I as a technician call before I go then get no answer. Go to home no answer, leave door tag. All before 10 AM. I call again when finishing up another job and swing back by before noon. Still no answer, no one home. I go to lunch, come back to work do another job. I then call the original customer again and go back by home. No answer, no one home, leave additional door tag. I go back to work, customer calls an hour later asking if we are coming by today and to call ahead. I call and swing back by no answer, no one home. 4th time back by home. 4-415 pm customer calls back to see if we are coming by today.

So there in this ridiculousness lies the Dilemma. I ask my Father as Peter ask Jesus in Matthew 18:21-22 - 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. I look at this situation and ask do I go back on a Friday night at about 430 pm or do I tell the person "No, to reschedule". Do I be of the world and just tell the customer No? Do I be of what I perceive as Christlikeness and forgive the customer for their inconsiderate actions taken during this day and this situation? I ask how do I act in this type of situation? How do I react to all that worldly stuff? I can spout off logic and reason to support both sides of this situation. I'll let you decide.

I thank you Father for giving me the wisdom to carry out your will in my daily life. You say you will never leave me or forsake me. Hebrews 13.5. I know you live inside me and will guide me to your will in my life as long as I continually keep my eyes on you. I ask as I approach a situation such as this you will continue to guide and comfort me from any fleshly thinking. I wish to only think as Christlike as possible. I ask all this in the Heavenly amazing beautiful precious humble name of Christ Jesus, Amen!
