Dilemma

 Dilemma

In service management there's always place for dilemma. I get puzzled on my thinking of how to act and how to react in a situation with customers. Let me better explain this.

I do a job for customers that signs-up for our services. Services are internet, television, and phone. Customer makes an appointment and gets the time and date set to an AM job, even requests a call before going.

I as a technician call before I go then get no answer. Go to home no answer, leave door tag. All before 10 AM. I call again when finishing up another job and swing back by before noon. Still no answer, no one home. I go to lunch, come back to work do another job. I then call the original customer again and go back by home. No answer, no one home, leave additional door tag. I go back to work, customer calls an hour later asking if we are coming by today and to call ahead. I call and swing back by no answer, no one home. 4th time back by home. 4-415 pm customer calls back to see if we are coming by today.

So there in this ridiculousness lies the Dilemma. I ask my Father as Peter ask Jesus in Matthew 18:21-22 - 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times. I look at this situation and ask do I go back on a Friday night at about 430 pm or do I tell the person "No, to reschedule". Do I be of the world and just tell the customer No? Do I be of what I perceive as Christlikeness and forgive the customer for their inconsiderate actions taken during this day and this situation? I ask how do I act in this type of situation? How do I react to all that worldly stuff? I can spout off logic and reason to support both sides of this situation. I'll let you decide.

I thank you Father for giving me the wisdom to carry out your will in my daily life. You say you will never leave me or forsake me. Hebrews 13.5. I know you live inside me and will guide me to your will in my life as long as I continually keep my eyes on you. I ask as I approach a situation such as this you will continue to guide and comfort me from any fleshly thinking. I wish to only think as Christlike as possible. I ask all this in the Heavenly amazing beautiful precious humble name of Christ Jesus, Amen!
